Our Ausangate Trek Details

The Ausangate trek is becoming quite famous among hikers and other outdoors enthusiasts. Our Ausangate Trek Peru winds through the heart of the Andes Mountains in South America. On our Ausangate tour you will see some of the most breathtaking and pristine scenary in the entire world. Ausangate trail takes you over mountains and past rivers, lakes and glaciers – it’s a land of otherworldly views.

The Ausangate Trek 5 days is a stunning hike through the wildest and least visited areas in Peru. It is more challenging, but the Ausangate hike is not as popular as the classic Inca Trail. The Rainbow Mountain Ausangate Trek  takes hikers over several high passes, down into low alpine valleys and through traditional Peruvian villages. During our Ausangate Mountain Trek you’ll see snow-capped peaks, herds of llamas, glaciers and turquoise lakes, all set within an incredibly beautiful mountain range. You will also get the chance to see the Rainbow Mountain of Vinicunca!

On the Ausangate Mountain Andes Peru the local folks celebrate every year in August the feast of Pachamama (Mother Earth) and give thanks to her for her blessings. The Apu Ausangate is like a god to the Andean people.  The Ausangate trek Peru circumnavigates the peak and offers the traveler an experience to touch in a living culture. Ausangate Cusco Peru trail connects the trekker with the ancestral customs and traditions of the Incan people who live in the area of this majestic peak. On this Ausangate tour you will be able to witness first hand the effect that global warming has had on the glacier.

Come along with us and experience unforgettable magic deep in the heart of the Andes on our Ausangate Trek. At every sunrise you will  marvel at the shadow of the powerful presence of Ausangate.

One of the most amazing treks that I have ever experienced, and I have traveled through Nepal and Tibet. The Andes are magnificent. I also loved getting close to the local people.
