For Lima Half Day City Tour we have two options: you can start in the morning at 9:00 am or in the afternoon at 1:30 pm. On both the morning tour and the afternoon tour, you will visit all of the above-mentioned tourist attractions. Since this is a private tour you could choose a diferent starting time if you like.

Lima is a city of incredible contrasts and hidden treasures. The tour begins when we pick you up at your hotel. First you will go into the central historical district, this is where the majority of the wonderful examples of colonial mansions are to be found.
Walk around the ancient pre-columbian streets near the Plaza. After visiting Plaza San Martin, we´ll stop by the Museum of the Banco Central de Reserva. Then, we will visit the Lima’s Main Square, this is the perfect place to hear about the history of Lima and enjoy the Cathedral, The Government Palace, the City Hall of Lima and the Archbishop’s Palace. (In this place we can visit the Museum of the Cathedral in case you would like to see Pizarro’s remains).
Before we return to Miraflores, we will visit the church and Convent of San Francisco. Here the architecture in the both the interior and on the exterior is exquisite. Inside you can see one of the most famous altarpieces of the colonial era. Then, you will go downstairs to see the impressive catacombs. Next, you will visit Huaca Pucllana which is a giant pyramid of adobe bricks and mud located in Miraflores. Finally, you will be dropped-off at your hotel.
These destinations that we mentioned may be changed by the traveler at the time of the tour. But any changes must be previously coordinated with the guide, and also approved with respect to any additional entrance fees, such as the visit to the Casa Aliaga.
