There are Seven Wonders in the World, but none of these is as beautiful as Machu Picchu. Set in a saddle between two mountains and surrounded by vertical cliffs that plunge thousands of feet to the Urubamba River, the site of Machu Picchu is awe-inspiring. In this fantastic location the Incan builders constructed their masterwork. Large, finely cut and polished stones were used in the grand temples and in the dwelling places of the nobility. These rocks were joined together like puzzle pieces without mortar, and they have withstood the test of time. Canals, water fountains, and an ingenious irrigation system bear witness to the Incas detailed knowledge of hydraulic engineering. We invite you to explore this famous Incan wonderland on our Machu Picchu 1 Day Tours from Cusco.

We did the Machu Picchu Private day tour and were not disappointed! Everything from pick up to drop off ran smoothly! Everyone from booking to the day of was helpful and professional! We opted to upgrade the train to the Vistadome and it was an awesome experience! Our tour guide at Machu Picchu, Beto, was amazing!! He was so knowledgeable and should pick up a second career as a tourist photographer! Our lunch in Aguas Calientes was delicious! If we ever come back to Peru, we will definitely be booking tours with Travel 1, and we are telling all our friends to do the same!!

This was certainly a FULL day tour, beginning before dawn and finishing up after dark. But the effort was certainly well-rewarded. Seeing Machu Picchu is an experience worth waiting a lifetime for. I feel like a different person than the one who started out this morning. Machu Picchu is that heavy.
The journey itself through the serene Peruvian countryside was very beaautiful. It was a long day, but thanks to Travel 1 everything went smoothly, without a hitch. I especially enjoyed the great lunch provided for us at Inkaterra Cafe.

Machu Picchu! I will never forget this experience. The site itself is so mystical but at the same time it is so well engineered and so practical that its canals, fountains, and acequias enabled the farming part of the town to receive irrigation water. With Travel 1 all of the logistics of our trip worked out perfectly. Their team was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
If I had to do it again, I probably would stay overnight in Aguas Calientes and return to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu on the second day as there is so much to explore, all of it amazingly interesting.

Oh my God! Machu Picchu is beautiful beyond words. What a great experience!
The logistics of the trip were seamless. Not too much waiting around anywhere. Lunch was great. But the highlight of it all was Machu Picchu itself. How did they build this magnificent city? And the site that they chose to build it on would be mindblowing even if nothing was built there. I am about ready to go again,. Thank you, Travel 1!

If I could take this tour every day of my life, then my life would be perfect. Everything about it was really sweet. The ride through the Sacred Valley was like a dream. Then the train trip to Machu Picchu was more beautiful still. When we actually arrived at Machu Picchu, I had no more words left to describe it. Travel1 and Machu Picchu—- a winner of a combination.
