Flights Nasca Lines. In the morning our team will pick you up from your hotel and drive you in our private Mercedes Van to Ica. The trip takes about 4 hours each way. Our flight over the enigmatic Nasca Lines Peru begins at the Capitán FAP Renán Elias Olivera Airport in Pisco.
It is possible if you are starting out in Paracas or at Ballestas Islands, to be picked up at your hotel and driven in our private Mercedes Van to the airport.
At the Pisco airport you will take off and begin your one hour and 40 minute flight out to the Nazca desert and over the Lines. Along the way you will have the chance to see the vineyards of Ica, Ocucaje Valley in all its magnificence, the sand dunes out in the desert, and the fertile costal valleys where the Nazca and Paracas cultures flourished long ago.
Of course, the centerpiece will be the sight of the hundreds of lines and figures representing plants, animals, and geometric shapes out on the desert of Jumana and San José. If you would like to enjoy a delicious lunch our team will drive you to a great restaurant in Paracas after your land. After lunch we will drive you back to your hotel in Lima. Projected arrival time back in Lima – Miraflores depends on what time you start out in the morning.
This was certainly a very interesting adventure. The Peruvian coast is full of mysteries, but none are bigger than the purpose of the Nazca Lines which can only be seen in their entirety from the air. Well, the flight over these giant drawings in the sand was quite wonderful. But I doubt if there were 12-seater planes in Peru thousands of years ago. Great company. Real helpful people. Very polite.
Fabulous experience! A lifetime high, but not for the faint of heart.
The pilots made our flight amazing, a 12 seater plane, they pointed out what drawing was coming up and where we’d see it and when, then they flip the plane around so the passengers on the other side can see and take pictures, equal viewing of all drawings. Our pictures came out great. I tried to zoom in as much as possible, knowing I could zoom in more when editing.

We loved our flight over the Nazca lines. We took a 11 am flight and it was clear and not windy. Very nice flight with good explanations as we flew over the different animals and figures. I would love to go again, because was a really nice experience.
There were so many interesting phases of this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. The Peruvian desert is quite stark. We saw this both from the van and from the air. Our view of the famous lines was incomparable. Our team was knowledgeable and friendly. Great lunch in Paracas.
